DEWALT Unveils New Impacts, Drills, and More

DEWALT is releasing several new products for the spring season to help complete all those projects you put off last year. Their new lineup includes a pair of chipping hammers, two impact wrenches, several open-head ratchets, a drill/driver, and a hammer drill. Each of these tools is built to maximize the production of those in the construction industry and trades. Many new upgrades and features provide increased power and ergonomics for a more efficient jobsite.

DEWALT 60V MAX Cordless SDS MAX Chipping Hammers (DCH832X1 & DCH892X1)

The new 22 lb. and 15 lb. 60V MAX Cordless SDS MAX Chipping Hammers are specifically designed for increased power without sacrificing any control that ensures precision concrete work. The 22 lb. model is capable of up to 19.4 Joules of impact energy while breaking down dense concrete. Built for heavier duty jobs, such as highway construction, the larger DCH892X1 can handle horizontal and downward chipping on mid-to-lower wall and flooring tasks. The 15 lb. DCH832X1 provides up to 10.5 Joules of impact energy and is highly maneuverable, making it ideal for horizontal chipping in upper or lower walls and concrete surface prep applications.

Both chipping hammers offer 7-position variable speed control and maintain consistent speed under load for precision chipping and efficiency. An integrated SHOCKS Active Vibration Control system minimizes vibration in the hammers allowing for greater control during chipping and reduced hand fatigue. Each model features WIRELESS TOOL CONTROL connectivity so you can remotely activate the DCV585B 60V MAX Dust Extractor. Both hammers are also come Tag Ready with DEWALT’s Tool Connect system to allow tracking of your tool from your phone. 

DEWALT 20V MAX XR 1/2-Inch Mid-Range Cordless Impact Wrenches (DCF891 & DCF892)

DEWALT’s new impact wrenches continue with the theme of adding power to create a more efficient jobsite. The 20V MAX XR 1/2-Inch Mid-Range Cordless Impact Wrench with Hog Ring Anvil (DCF891B) and with Detent Pin Anvil (DCF892B) delivers up to 600 foot-pounds of maximum fastening torque which is 270 more foot-pounds of torque than the DCF894HB Impact Wrench. Each impact is capable of 800 foot-pounds of max breakaway torque when you need increased power in compact spaces. 

The Precision Wrench feature allows for additional control when drilling forward or reverse, preventing overtightening and run-off. Timber screw mode creates increased speed for application in harder woods. Each drill features a lightweight and ergonomic design to make it easier to handle during long projects. Other features include an adjustable LED light for increased visibility in low-light areas and a push-button mode to transition between 4 different modes easily.

DEWALT 20V ATOMIC and 12V XTREME Open-Head Ratchets (DCF512B, DCF513B, DCF503B, DCF503EB, & DCF504B)

DEWALT’s introduction of several new cordless ratchets is specifically built for mechanics that spend all day under the hood. The 20V MAX ATOMIC 1/2- and 3/8-Inch Brushless Ratchets offer 70 foot-pounds of max torque and 60 foot-pounds of breakaway torque for use with various fastener sizes and applications. The 12V XTREME 3/8-Inch Ratchet and Extendable Ratchet deliver 60 foot-pounds of max torque and 45 foot-pounds of breakaway torque, while the 1/4-Inch Ratchet provides 400 foot-pounds of max torque and 20 foot-pounds of breakaway torque.

The ratchets feature a new OR-30 motor capable of up to 250 RPM via a variable speed trigger and a compact design, so you still get optimum performance without sacrificing ergonomics. A compact build and low-profile head design make it easy to fit the ratchet into tight locations commonly found while working on motors. Each ratchet features a glass-filled nylon housing that resists housing damage due to the harmful effects of oils and solvents found in the automotive trades.

DEWALT 20V MAX XR Brushless 1/2-Inch Drill/Driver (DCD800) & Hammer Drill/Driver (DCD805)

DEWALT has increased power in the updates to their Drill/Driver (DCD800) and Hammer Drill/Driver (DCD805) while giving the tools a more compact design. Each drill boasts up to 40% more unit watts out and features a 1/2-inch shorter tool head compared to the DCD791B and DCD796B models. The sleeker design allows for easier work in confined spaces without sacrificing vital performance. 

High-speed transmission with a variable trigger and two-speed settings combined with high bit-retention creates a drill that offers optimal speed, control, and precision. The 20V MAX XR Brushless 1/2-inch Drill/Driver is capable of completing the majority of drilling construction materials at up to 2,000 RPM in second speed. The 20V MAX XR Brushless 1/2-inch Hammer Drill/Driver provides up to 34,000 BPM via its integrated hammer mode function, making quick work of masonry material.
