New Milwaukee M18 High-Output Battery Announcement

Shocking News

The atmosphere here at Acme Tools was electric when we heard Milwaukee is releasing new High-Output M18 6.0 Ah and 12.0 amp-hour batteries!  The new 12.0Ah battery is the longest-running 18 volt battery on the market, and it is jammed full of innovations and engineering to make your work easier.  As cordless tools continue infiltrating every niche of the market, this is a very welcome newcomer.

The Future of M18

Cordless tools have established complete dominance when convenience is the priority.  When extra power is needed though, we all like to fall back on time-tested corded tools to give us that extra punch.  With this new tech, we move one step closer to complete freedom from the wall outlet.

The new Milwaukee batteries deliver up to 50% more power and run at half the temperature than previous Milwaukee M18 HD battery packs.  This increase in power raises the bar for the entire M18 Fuel lineup and pushes all Milwaukee brushless tools to rival 15-amp corded models. This is a tremendous breakthrough that is flipping the way we look at our power tools on its head.  Gone are the days of lugging a generator out for short jobs, and it doesn’t look like they’re coming back any time soon.

Compatibility

All M18 cordless tools can hop on the high-output train.  Whether you already have a substantial Milwaukee collection or are just beginning it, you can get the astounding performance of this new technology.  The extra runtime will keep you working longer than ever before, with 33% longer running time than its predecessor 9.0Ah battery pack.  The more power a tool requires, the more it will benefit.

In Hot Or Cold Weather

Lithium-ion cells are known for being cold-blooded.  They lose all their juice as soon as the thermometer hits the freezing mark, but no longer.  The new M18 HD batteries have the best cold-weather performance of any pack ever made, and keep churning out consistent power all the way down to 0F/-18C. Winter chills will no longer stop you from getting your best work done.

Heat won’t get to these packs either: the units stay up to 50% cooler than previous Milwaukee battery line.  They run more efficiently through heavy applications; go ahead and push your cordless tools harder and longer than you ever have before.

Final Thoughts

The new additions to the M18 battery line are truly revolutionary.  They are the longest lasting 18-volt batteries on the market, generating the power of a 15A corded product.  Extra runtime, more power, and extreme weather endurance mean you can do more with less downtime. If you want to boost your cordless tool game, this is the way to go.

Hi James, Thank you for your question. The Milwaukee tools that use the V18 Ni-Cd batteries will not accept the M18 style batteries. It has nothing to do with the Ni-Cd or Lithium chemistry of the battery, it all has to do with the connection points on the tool and battery, they just don’t match up.

      Thank you,
      Acme Tools
