The new 12.0Ah battery is the longest-running 18 volt battery on the market, and it is jammed full of innovations and engineering to make your work easier. January 5, 2022 at 8:16 amHi James, Thank you for your question. The Milwaukee tools that use the V18 Ni-Cd batteries will not accept the M18 style batteries. It has nothing to do with the Ni-Cd or Lithium chemistry of the battery, it all has to do with the connection points on the tool and battery, they just don’t match up.
