The new DEWALT battery chargers, designed to increase productivity and minimize downtime, will not disappoint. The DCB1112 12 Amp Fast Charger and DCB1106 6 Amp Charger are designed for the toughest jobsites and allow professionals to quickly charge their DEWALT batteries.
DEWALT DCB1112 20V 12Amp Fast Charger
The 12 Amp Fan-Assisted Fast Charger is a powerhouse for DEWALT’s 20V MAX* and FLEXVOLT® lithium-ion batteries, capable of charging a DEWALT FLEXVOLT® Battery (DCB609) to 80% in under 45 minutes. This makes it the fastest charger in its class. While also being designed to maximize efficiency, these battery chargers feature:
- Intelligent LED indicators
- The Stage 1 LED blinks until the battery reaches 80%.
- The Stage 2 LED blinks until the battery is fully charged.
This intuitive system lets users easily monitor the charging process without removing the battery.
The charger also includes fan-assisted cooling to keep the charger and battery cool during rapid charging. Its practical design incorporates through-hole mounts for secure placement and a transport latch for easy carrying with the battery attached. Additionally, it boasts double insulation for enhanced safety, meeting UL compliance standards. With these features, the 12 Amp Fast Charger ensures quick, safe, and convenient battery management, boosting productivity and minimizing downtime.
DEWALT DCB1106 20V/12V 6Amp Charger
The 20V/12V 6Amp Charger charges a 5.0Ah Battery (DCB205) to 80% capacity in under 45 minutes. Like the 12 Amp Fast Charger, the 6 Amp Charger also features the following:
- Stage 1 & 2 LED format.
- Through-hole mounts.

May 16, 2020 at 4:11 pmI would like to know if any battery operated tool manufacturer produces a charger that can be used in a vehicles lighter plug in. Expecially 20 or 40 volt or more batteries. And if not, why not since like me i would use everyday constantly when working. That way could charge extra batteries while working and not just at home making it easier to use.

May 18, 2020 at 8:56 amHi Eddie, At this time DEWALT (20V MAX), Milwaukee (M18), and Makita (18V LXT) are making 12Volt (input power) chargers for their batteries. The other companies are requiring you to install a 12V to 120V inverter into your vehicle and power their standard charger that way.
Thank you,

September 13, 2021 at 10:56 pmDoes the 20/60 flexvolt require a charger specific to it ? Will a 20 volt charger charge the 20/60 flexvolt?

September 15, 2021 at 7:41 amHello, Thank you for your question. The DEWALT 20V chargers will charge the DEWALT FLEXVOLT 20V/60V batteries. The batteries have electrical connections for both the 20V and 60V side so the 20V chargers utilize the 20V side of the battery to charge.
Thank you,
