2/21/2024 Update
As you may know, in 2018, Hitachi Power Tools rebranded itself to Metabo HPT. Look at this article for more information: Metabo HPT is a Familiar and Trusted Brand.
With the brand update, the nail guns you know and trust are identical; they go by a different name. Metabo HPT recently released Framing, a new framing nailer with aluminum magazines. You can read about them and check out purchasing options here:
The new Hitachi Nail Gun A5 series gives the pros precisely what they have been asking for: a nailer like the original NR83 model that delivers the feel they know, the speed they need, the durability they expect, and simplified maintenance. Each A5 nailer now comes with a heavy-duty rafter hook for convenience.
Hitachi Roots
Sometimes, you must return them to their original design to improve things. The infamous NR83 framing nailer models have been around for decades and are seen on job sites nationwide because of their reputation for being workhorses that perform. These A5 framing nailers have the same legendary durability and reliability professionals in the residential and multifamily building industry have come to trust, but now with an improved trigger design and sharing all the same internal parts as the NR83A model.
Nothing is better than the classics, and the Hitachi A5 Series Framing nailers are proof of this. They come with Hitachi’s industry-leading 5-year warranty, a rafter hook, and a pair of safety glasses. They are the ideal pneumatic framing nailers for those in the building industry who demand convenience, performance, and reliability.
