5″ 12 Amp Variable Speed Angle Grinder
Metabo HPT released the next generation 5″ 12 Amp Variable Speed Angle Grinder (G13VE2). The advancements with the new model include:
• 1500 W max power
• Rotation recovery control
• 3-position side handle
• Tool-less wheel guard
The angle grinder features a high torque, brushless motor that powers through the most demanding cutting and grinding applications while ensuring high efficiency and minimal maintenance. The variable speed grinder includes many safety features, like the slide switch with a quick-off feature that immediately shuts the tool off, anti-kickback that turns off power in the event of a bound wheel, and soft start, which reduces the load felt by the user at startup.
4-1/2″ 12 Amp Paddle Switch Disc Grinder with Brake
Alongside the release of the updated variable speed grinder, Metabo HPT also launched the next model 4-1/2″ 12 Amp Paddle Switch Disc Grinder (G12BYEQ2M). The disc grinder offers five safety features to help reduce user fatigue and injury risk, including:
• Anti-kickback: Shuts power off in the event of a bound wheel
• Zero Voltage Restart Protection: Prevents restarting if power is temporarily cut off
• Brake Safety Function: Brake is activated and motor rotation stops when the switch is turned off
• Soft Start: Reduces the load felt by the user at start up
• Paddle switch: Can only be activated when the lock-off lever is pushed down
The disc grinder also features a brushless motor with a no-load speed of 8,500 RPM, a tool-less wheel guard, 3 position anti-vibration side handle, and a removable dust filter.
3-1/4″ Framing Nailer with Aluminum Magazine
Metabo HPT introduced two new additions to the durable line of NR83A5 Series Tools. A 3-1/4″ 21° Framing nailer – model NR83A5(S1)M and a 3-1/4” Framing nailer – model NR83A5(Y). Both framing nailers offer the same features as the NR83A5 but are now equipped with an aluminum magazine. They also use the same cylinder valve system as the original NR83A5, which provides rapid response and high driving power. Both feature a long list of notable features, including:
• High Grade Aluminum Magazine, which offers outstanding durability and protects against jams
• Selective actuation on the trigger which allows for either sequential or contact nailing
• Aggressive claw tip that grips wood for driving nails at different angles
• Locking feeder system that accepts two strips of nails at the same time and makes replenishment quick
Model NR835A(Y)M also has tool-less depth of drive adjustment for flush fastening in varying materials.

18V MultiVolt™ Cordless Triple Hammer BOLT Impact Driver
The 18V BOLT Triple Hammer Impact Driver, the first of its kind, incorporates a third impacting anvil instead of the two-anvil system. The BOLT impact driver is great for reaching tight spaces as the tool weighs only 2 lbs and measures 4.5″ inches long. However, the compact design does not interfere with the power of the impact driver, which achieves an impressive 1,859 in/lbs of torque and a driving speed of 3,700 RPM. The tool has the added feature of triple LED lights to reduce shadows and increase visibility.
