February 05, 2025, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has released the 12″ Snow Shovel Attachment (SN400MP), which is an ideal solution for clearing and removing snow in tight spaces. The SN400MP adds to the growing collection of Makita Couple Shaft Power Head attachment system, which now offers 18 compatible attachments for cutting, trimming, clean-ups, and more.
Efficient and Convenient Snow Removal
The Makita 12″ Snow Shovel Attachment (SN400MP) is for use with the XGT® and LXT® Brushless Couple Shaft Power Heads (sold separately) and can throw snow up to 30 ft. with the GUX01Z Power Head for fast snow removal on driveways, decks, and sidewalks. The SN400MP gives users a 12″ clearing width and 6″ clearing depth. It can clear up to five parking spots on a single charge with two BL1850B 18V LXT 5.0Ah Batteries.
The 12″ Snow Shovel Attachment features a compact and lightweight design for clearing snow in tight spaces. It features directional snow throwing with three adjustable angles; straight, 30° left, or 30° right. The SN400P features a steel drive shaft for less vibration and longer equipment life.
Use with Makita Couple Shaft Power Heads
The Makita 12” Snow Shovel Attachment is for use with the 40V max XGT® Brushless Couple Shaft Power Head (GUX01), the 36V (18V X2) LXT® Brushless Couple Shaft Power Head (XUX01), and the 18V LXT® Brushless Power Head (XUX02), all sold separately. With the addition of the SN400MP, the Makita Couple Shaft Power Head system now offers 18 attachments, including solutions for edging, grass, and tree trimming, pumping water, debris removal, and so much more.
