Milwaukee is starting the year off right with two new products, a string trimmer & blower combo kit, and a brushless string trimmer. The two products join over 200 other tools in the M18 System. The two cordless string trimmers are replacing the discontinued M18 FUEL string trimmer (2725-20).
M18 FUEL String Trimmer & Blower Combo Kit
The new M18 FUEL String Trimmer and Blower Combo Kit (3000-21) features two of Milwaukee’s premiere tools. The entire kit includes the trimmer, blower, M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPOUT XC8.0Ah battery, and an M18 and M12 rapid charger.
The M18 FUEL cordless string trimmer feature’s the QUIK-LOK attachment system. The trimmer consists of two parts, the M18 FUEL power head with QUIK-LOK and the QUIK-LOK string trimmer. The head can be swapped with other QUIK-LOK attachments such as an edger, hedge trimmer, or pole saw. The attachment system provides versatility while also making it more cost-efficient if you own multiple tools.
The M18 FUEL blower is the perfect tool to complement the string trimmer. After trimming, the blower can clean up the mess on walkways or decks. The blower features a variable speed trigger and high- and low-speed settings giving you direct control over how much power you need for the job. Other features include up to 15 feet of cleaning power and it gets full throttle in under 1 second. The blower is up to 4 pounds lighter than competitors. Therefore, making it easier to use during long jobs.
M18 String Trimmer
Milwaukee’s new M18 Brushless String Trimmer (2828-20) delivers more cutting power and a wider cutting swath than it’s competitors. The cordless string trimmers’ brushless motor provides up to 6,200 RPM. Combined with REDLINK Intelligence and an M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPOUT battery, it features a run-time of up to 55 minutes. The brushless trimmer features an adjustable cutting swath of 14 inches for maximizing run-time and 16 inches for cutting a larger area. The trimmer also features an easy load trimmer head, so you get easy line loading for up to 25 feet in under 30 seconds.
