Q: Will this replace the current M18 radio/charger?
A: No. The 2891-20 Wireless Jobsite Speaker is an additional SKU to the Milwaukee cordless tool lineup.
Q: What batteries work with the speaker
A: The speaker is compatible with ALL M18 and M12 batteries including the High Demand 9.0Ah battery. If batteries are not present, it comes with an AC cord adapter.
Q: Is the speaker waterproof?
A: The speaker is not waterproof but it is water resistant. The IP54 rating includes dust, debris, and light rain but during heavy inclement weather it should be brought inside.
Q: Will the speaker also charge the batteries?
A: No. This unit focuses on sound quality. If a built in charger is a mandatory feature the Milwaukee 2792-20 Radio should be considered.
Q: Does it have a radio?
A: No. This unit is strictly a wireless Bluetooth speaker.
Q: What is the Bluetooth Range?
A: Maximum range is 100′.
