Makita announced six new cordless LED lighting products with two tower lights and four hybrid cordless and corded work lights. Each work light offers a variety of features, making them versatile for any job site.
DML809 Work Light
The DML809 X2 LXT Work Light boasts the highest lumens of Makita’s new products. With three modes of operation, it delivers 10,000 lumens on high, 4,000 on medium, and 2,000 on low. It holds two batteries, using one at a time and moving to the second when needed. The two batteries allow for a run-time of 8.5 hours on the low setting and 1.7 hours on the high setting.
DML810 Area Light
The DML810 18V X2 LXT Cordless Upright LED Area Light features a self-balancing design that keeps it in an upright position, even when knocked over. The DML810 boasts the longest run time of Makita’s new products, with 15 hours of run-time on the low setting and 3.3 hours on the high setting. This light features three modes of operation: 5,500 lumens on high, 3,000 on medium, and 1,500 on low. It also has three illumination range mods: 360 degrees, left 180 degrees, and right 180 degrees.
DML811 Work Light
The DML811 18V LXT Work Light features a run-time of 13 hours on the low setting and 3 hours on the high setting. The DML811 has three modes of operation: 3,000 lumens on high, 1,500 on medium, and 750 on low. Adjustable knobs allow for multi-directional rotation, enabling the user to direct the light to their desired angle. It can also be mounted on an optional tripod stand.
The light-weight 3.4 lb. DML812 18V LXT LED Flashlight/Spotlight is basically four lights in one for versatility on any project. Four modes of operation offer a variety of lumens: delivering 600 lumens on spot, 1,000 on flood, 1,250 on spot/flood, and strobe mode. The DML812 illuminates up to 700 yards and features 7 hours of run-time.
DML813 and DML814 Tower Work Lights
The DML813 Cordless Tower Work Light and DML814 Tower Work/Multidirectional Light each offer wide overhead lighting. The DML813 features a head that rotates 220 degrees vertically and 230 degrees horizontally. On the other hand, the DML814 features three adjustable light heads that rotate vertically 180 degrees. Both have a max output of 3,000 lumens with an 8 hour run-time on low and a 2 hour run-time on high.
